From Someone Who
Still Does the Work
Dave Sonner has been doing energy work in the Chicago suburbs since 1993. People who learned it from him have gone on to manage, and to run their own companies. If that is the kind of place you are looking for, we would like to hear from you.
Where this can go
I now own two businesses, and a lot of the things that Dave not only practiced but preached, he was there day and night.

What to expect
Three Honest Things
You learn from someone who does it
Dave is the owner and still runs the appointments himself. Whatever you are learning, you are learning it from the person doing it, not from a training deck written by someone three levels up.
He is actually around
Small team, so there is nowhere to hide and nobody to get lost behind. That cuts both ways, and it is worth knowing before you apply. It is also the reason people here pick things up quickly.
The customer comes first, and it is not a slogan
If solar is wrong for a house, we say so and walk. If that sounds like a bad way to hit a number, this is probably not the right fit. If it sounds like a relief, it might be.
The work
It Is Whole-Home Energy, Not Just Panels
We look at why a house is losing energy first, the windows, the siding, the heating and cooling, and only then work out what solar it actually needs. That means the people here have to understand a house, not just a product. It is more to learn up front and it is the reason the work holds up.
Solar, battery storage, heat pumps, windows, siding and doors, across residential, commercial and farm sites in Illinois.
We Do Not Keep a List of Open Roles
We would rather hear what you are good at than have you squeeze yourself into a job title we wrote in advance. Send us a note about what you do and what you are looking for. Pay and hours get discussed properly, with a real person, not guessed at from a posting.
Sales, installation, service and office work all come up. So does experience from other trades.
